Account Deletion

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to The Green Gather.
  2. Open Profile, then Safety Center.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Read the on-screen explanation.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm.

The app then calls the server deletion function and signs you out. This cannot be undone from the app.

What the current deletion function does

If deletion succeeds, the current server function is designed to:

  • delete listed posts and media files (avatars, profile photos and videos, post photos, and gallery items)
  • delete music playlists, Now Spinning posts, art you submitted, recipe saves, and in-app notifications
  • remove lounge invites or join requests tied to the account, and Circle membership
  • clear Circle answers and related profile fields
  • remove applicant-created business listings you created
  • clear this account’s creator link on platform-public listings without deleting those public listings
  • anonymize profile fields, then delete the login

Because the login delete can also remove the profile row, do not assume a “Deleted member” profile remains visible. This cannot be undone from the app.

What may remain

  • Reports you filed may remain without your name so moderators can keep a safety record.
  • Other members may still have copies of chats until those conversations are removed.
  • Website waitlist emails are not automatically removed by app-account deletion.
  • Support emails sent to [email protected] are not removed by the in-app deletion function.
  • Streaming-provider copies of creator media are not shown as deleted in the current function.
  • Infrastructure backups and logs may last longer than the live account record.
  • Legal holds, if ever applied, could delay further deletion. That process is not documented in the app code.

Needs confirmation: backup retention, log retention, waitlist deletion process, and whether streaming-provider copies of creator media are removed on the same timeline.

If you cannot open the app

Use the Support page or email [email protected]. Say that you want the account deleted, and include the email on the account. Do not send your password.

Waitlist only

This website is not currently collecting waitlist emails. If you never created an app account and only submitted an email on an earlier website form, email [email protected] and ask for that address to be removed. That is separate from Safety Center deletion. A live waitlist service has not been verified.
